2010 – Big-Block Modifieds at Bridgeport Speedway and New Egypt Speedway

  • Won First Big Block modified race at Bridgeport Speedway on May 1, 2010. Top 5 in points until our motor blew up. We were then out of the points race.
  • Harvey Gray who owns the blue number 43 agreed on letting me race the final races at New Egypt Speeway.
  • Thanks to Harvey we now have a decent amount of track experience at NES.
  • Traveled to many different race tracks helping Rick Laubach and his team, to have a better understanding on setting up the car for different track conditions.

2009 -Big-Block Modifieds at Bridgeport Speedway

  • 12 top-fives, 8 top-tens, finished 5th in points
  • Was invited to attend Andy Hillenburgs “Advanced Short Track Driver Development Course” did 150 laps in a Craftmans Truck and 150 laps in a Arca Car and practiced pit stops.

2008 – Big-Block Modifieds at Bridgeport Speedway

  • 1 top-five, 10 top-tens, finished 12th in points
  • Modified Division Rookie of the Year

2007 - Dirt Sportsman at Bridgeport Speedway

  • Crate Sportsman Division 2 wins, 5th in points, Won the final race of the year (Turkey Derby)
  • Sportsman Division 7 wins out of 11 races
  • New York State Fairgrounds (Syracuse) Super DIRT Week
  • Future Stars Sportsman race 2nd; Sportsman feature race 13th started 24th

2006 – 270 Mini Sprint Division at Bridgeport Speedway

  • 3 wins, 8th in points
  • Rookie of the Year, Best Appearing Car awards

2005 – N/A

  • Little racing due to a fractured wrist in skateboard incident

2004 - Slingshots at Medford (Delaware) Speedway

  • 1 win, 2nd in points

2003 - Transition from Quarter Midgets to Slingshots

1996 -2002:
Started racing at the age of 4 at Blackbird Speedway in New Castle, Delaware.
Matt’s parents and others help start a new Quarter Midget Race track in Atco, NJ called Sandstone Speedway.
Matt has won the track champion for every division he was in each year. From Novice to Senior Stock.

He was only at a few States and National Championships for Quarter Midgets due to time restraints on family business and other racing with Dirt Modifieds that the family was involved in.
